Consignment Schedule

Cotton Kids follows a monthly seasonal consignment schedule that allows for a quick turnaround for consignors and consumers! We accept consignments Wednesdays-Saturdays on scheduled consignment weeks. Check our site or call with any questions and/or updates.

Please place 20 items or less in a bag with your first name, last name and phone number written on it. Please have all items clean, folded neatly and free of tears or stains. Keep in mind we accept items for the particular season our consignors are shopping for. For example, winter coats and mittens will be accepted in fall and winter.

All items are on a 90-day consignment period. After 45-60 days the items will be reduced to half price, and after 90 days the items are donated to a nonprofit. Every item is subject to store promotions and sales.

We have over 5,000 amazing consignors. We do not notify when items sell or when accounts have a balance. However, call or come in at any time and we will be happy to check your account!


How You Earn

We ask you bring your items to us freshly laundered and nicely folded in a bag. No hangers necessary! You do not need an appointment. We operate on walk-ins. Please note, due to our consignor capacity, our space is limited. We cannot always accept every large item and ask you call ahead if you plan to bring a large item to consign. All large items must be wiped down and in good condition. The better they look, the better they will sell!

After your items have sold, 40% of the selling price will be posted into your account. These sale transactions accumulate in store credit as your items sell. Once the balance is $12 or more, we will cut you a check. Checks are available for pickup after the fifth of each month. There is a $1 check processing fee taken from your consignor account for each processed check. If you choose to redeem your consignment for store credit exclusively know it will never expire. Checks will void after 90 days. Please don’t forget to check in about your account!

What We Accept

Our items range from maternity to newborn to teens. We accept children’s clothing, school uniforms, shoes, toys, baby items, books, games, etc. Our children’s clothing is not brand specific- we accept everything! As long as the items are stylish and in good condition (no stains, rips, missing buttons, pet hair) we will accept them. But don’t worry, we know how picky teenagers can be. We ask anything sized 12+ is brand name for all the latest trend-setting styles. If you wouldn’t put your own child or teen in an outfit, chances are we won’t either. Because of the large volume of items we receive, any items we cannot accept will be donated to one of our wonderful nonprofits.

Types of items we do no accept are as follows: potty seats, diaper pales, bathtubs, bedding, infant car seats, cribs older than seven years and recalled items. If you have a question on whether or not we will accept something, please feel free to give us a call!
